Futures
Designed for beginner juniors who have limited match play experience. Emphasis will be on technique, as well as improving execution of shots and strategy through drills and match play. Participants will be divided into groups based on ability level. Players are encouraged to begin competing in USTA Jr. Team Tennis and Grand Prix tournaments.
Satellite
Designed for advanced juniors looking to improve their strokes, footwork, and shot selection. Drills along with supervised match play will be used to enhance these skills. Players are encouraged to continue competing in USTA Jr. Team Tennis and Grand Prix tournaments.
Satellite Plus
Designed for advanced juniors looking to further improve their strokes, footwork, and shot selection. Drills along with supervised match play will be used to enhance these skills. Players are encouraged to continue competing in USTA Youth tournaments, USTA Jr. Team Tennis, and Grand Prix tournaments.
Super Excellence
Designed for players who participate in local (district) tournaments and, if old enough, play on their varsity high school tennis teams. Group instruction emphasizes “shot-making” from all areas of the court, along with learning different “patterns” of play. By invitation only. Contact Director of Junior Tennis for information. Players are encouraged to continue competing in USTA Jr. Team Tennis, USTA Tournaments, and Jr. Grand Prix tournaments.
Super Excellence Plus
This class is open to players with varsity standing who are competing in USTA tournaments, Jr. Grand Prix tournaments, and/or USTA Jr. Team Tennis. The class is run just like our High Performance program, with a focus on live-ball drills, and singles/doubles strategies. Players are expected to compete in USTA/Grand Prix events when they are not in High School season.
